With heavy hearts but in total submission to the will of God, that we the announce the call to glory of the "Odiologbo" of James Welch Grammar School Old Boys Association, Very Rev (Professor) Samuel Uwhubetine Erivwo. Professor Erivwo was in Iwe House and a pioneer student (1957-1961) of our great alma-mater. He has been playing very active roles in Ughelli branch and the national body of our noble Association.
He passed on peacefully at a very ripe age and it is our prayer that God grant his soul eternal repose. He will surely be missed by his classmates such as Bishop J. Muoghereh of Ughelli branch and the pioneer senior prefect, Mr Odjegba of Port-Harcourt branch.
Details of burial arrangements will be published in due course.
